Village dramas in Telugu Cinéma often rely on nostalgia and sentiment, but “Dhandoraa” brings a raw, grounded tone shaped by lived rural experience. With its textured visuals, instinctive performances, and a strong musical identity, the film captures the pulse of village life with striking authenticity. Now, the makers have announced the next big step in the release journey.
“Dhandoraa” will have its early Overseas Premieres on December 23, 2025, giving international audiences an advance experience ahead of the India release.
Presented by Smt. Muppaneni Sri Lakshmi under Loukya Entertainments, the film is directed by Muralikant and produced by Ravindra Benarjee Muppaneni. The overseas distribution is handled by Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures. As the team builds toward what they describe as a dramatic end-of-the-year release, the film continues to gather momentum with its now-talked-about thematic line: “చావు అనేది మనిషి ఇచ్చే ఆఖరి మర్యాద.”
A rooted, rhythm-driven village drama, Dhandoraa carries a strong ensemble cast featuring Shivaji, Navadeep, Nandu, Ravikrishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounika Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Radhya, Aditi Bhavaraju and others. The performances retain a natural, lived-in quality that reflects the film’s grounded creative approach.
The soundtrack is composed by Mark K. Robin, with the songs released through T-Series. Cinematographer Venkat R. Shakamuri captures the earthy textures of rural life, while editor Srujana Adusumilli shapes the film’s sharp-cut rhythm. The art direction, costumes, and production design work together to build an organic world rooted in Telugu rural aesthetics.
With its ensemble cast, grounded storytelling, and a strong musical identity, Dhandoraa sets the stage for a powerful theatrical experience.
