Netflix, the leading OTT giant, recently secured the digital rights for Devara, a big-ticket Telugu film, adding to its impressive lineup. The latest buzz now reveals that Netflix has acquired the rights for Devara at a record-breaking price.
The excitement surrounding ‘Devara’ is palpable, given the much-awaited collaboration between NTR and director Koratala Siva, who previously delivered the blockbuster ‘Janatha Garage.’ This film holds special significance for Telugu audiences as it marks NTR’s next project after the global success of RRR.
In a significant deal, the digital rights for ‘Devara – Part 1 All 5 Languages’ have been sealed with Netflix for a staggering price of 155 Crores. According to the agreement, there will be a minimum gap of 56 days between the theatrical release and the OTT premiere.
Adding to the star-studded cast, Janhvi Kapoor is set to play NTR’s love interest, while Saif Ali Khan takes on the role of the antagonist. NTR will showcase his versatility by portraying a dual role as both father and son. Anirudh, the acclaimed music composer, is expected to deliver captivating songs and background scores for the film. Jointly produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, ‘Devara’ is poised to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and stellar performances.
