Deepika Padukone is in headlines for being part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan and also for not being cast in Adipurush, as she is already cast opposite Prabhas in another film.
Deepika returned to sets of Shakun Batra’s film and shot in exotic locales in Goa recently. Shakun Batra of Kapoor & Sons fame is directing Deepika, Ananya Pandey and Siddhanth Chaturvedi in the yet-to-be-titled film. The film follows the relationships of two couples and focuses on the home life and experiences at workplace of women. The film being produced by Dharma Productions is set to release in February, 2021 (at least, that’s the target for now).
But Deepika, speaking to a national newspaper, has confessed that spending time with husband Ranveer Singh was the best. She said that being locked down with him filled her with gratitude, as they were together all along, unlike some who had to spend lockdown apart. “We absolutely did not complain. We were together and safe at home. That’s why I feel complete gratitude,” she said.
Both Deepika and Ranveer are busy stars and work in back to back projects. These apart, they are part of many commercials, photo shoots and promotions, not to forget social commitments.
Naturally, lockdown gave the lovey-dovey couple, who don’t shy from public display of affection, time to be with each other, relax and chill in the company of each other.
