By now, everyone knows it that senior director Gunasekhar has announced his new project a couple of days back. Titled Shaakuntalam, the film is going to be a love story which is based on Adi Parva from Mahabharata.
News also came out that Anushka Shetty is in talks for the titular role in the film. Now, the crazy buzz circulating among film circles is that happening beauty Pooja Hegde is almost finalized as the female lead in this grand-scale movie. However, an official confirmation regarding the news in circulation is awaited.
Gunasekhar’s daughter Neelima Guna will be bankrolling the film which is expected to go on floors from this year-end. Mani Sharma is the music composer for Shaakuntalam.
