Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s fans got a powerful delight when the makers of his upcoming entertainer Bheemla Nayak released the title song celebrating his birthday yesterday. The song titled Power Anthem went viral and is breaking all records at the box office.
In the meantime, the song landed in a controversy when an IPS officer from Telangana took exception to the song. Hyderabad East Zone DCP M.Ramesh criticized Ramajogayya Sastry for the lyrics. He posted on Twitter, ‘ Thankfully, @TelanganaCOPs are #PeopleFriendly Police. We don’t break the bones of those whom we are paid to protect! Surprisingly, @ramjowriters couldn’t find enough words in Telugu to describe the valor of a cop. No mention of service in the song’.
Bheemla Nayak directed by Sagar K Chandra stars Pawan Kalyan, Rana, Nitya Menon, and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles. Thaman is the music director for the film which is releasing during Sankranti next year.
