Congress High Command’s Surprise Twist, Nithiin’s Uncle Unhappy

A great deal of sadness has been felt by many party members who were expecting a ticket following the Telangana Congress High Command’s recent presentation of its second list of candidates for the forthcoming elections. The party’s commitment to providing opportunities to leaders from the BC Community was evident, but the absence of actor Nithiin’s uncle, Nagesh Reddy, in the list came as a shock.

Nagesh Reddy had high hopes of securing a ticket for the Nizamabad rural segment but was left disheartened when the Congress high command decided to allocate that constituency to former MLC Bhupathi Reddy. In response to this, Nagesh Reddy expressed his frustration with the lack of recognition and growth opportunities within the party.

He pointed out that the ticket allocation process seemed to be influenced by lobbying efforts and favoring newcomers to the party. Notably, Nagesh Reddy disclosed that he had the backing of his nephew, Tollywood star Nithiin, who was willing to support his candidacy had he received a ticket.

Despite the setback, Nagesh Reddy affirmed his commitment to the Congress party. It is worth noting that the party is expected to release a third list, with 19 more candidates securing tickets. This development suggests that the political landscape in Telangana is dynamic and filled with high expectations and disappointments for aspiring leaders within the Congress party.
