While the trend of sequels is on the rise in the Indian film industry, some filmmakers are even planning for the prequels. Actor Rishab Shetty is getting the script ready for the prequel to his super hit movie Kantara.
Following the same trend, actor, and director Prudhviraj Sukumaran who directed Mohanlal’s Lucifer has started working on the prequel to the movie. ‘Megastar’ Chiranjeevi who remade Lucifer as God Father in Telugu seems to have followed the updates about the project.
It’s heard that Chiranjeevi has suggested the director Mohan Raja keep an eye on the Malayalam project and is willing to remake the prequel in Telugu as well. Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy with Meher Ramesh’s Bhola Shankar which has Keerthy Suresh in his sister’s role and Tamannah Bhatia playing the female lead.
