Kotala Siva is one of the most successful directors in the Telugu film industry. He delivered four super hits Mirchi, Sreemanthudu, Janatha Garage, and Bharat Ane Nenu in a row. Expectations were high when he announced the movie with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan.
However, Acharya’s movie sank without any trace. Ever since the movie was bombed at the box office, Chiranjeevi has been indirectly targeting Koratala Siva and blaming him for the movie’s failure. Recently, he clarified the same.
“For the general well-being of the film industry, I’ve stated that directors should work everything on paper before going to sets. Rather than shooting 4-hours of cinema and trimming out an hour later, it’s better to work out a screenplay that will be under 3-hours such that lots of production costs will be saved. This is a general statement and not any intended remark at Koratala Siva. Once and for all, I’m giving clarity that I’ve not targeted Koratala or made any remarks against him” said Megastar Chiru, clearing the air officially.
