A few months ago, news came out that noted production house, Sithara Entertainments has acquired the remake rights of Malayalam drama, Kappela. Producer Naga Vamsi is gearing up to remake the film in Telugu with noted actors Naveen Chandra and Vishwak Sen.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the makers are keen on roping in young beauty Anikha Surendran, who did child artist roles in Tamil star Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal and Viswasam as one of the female leads in the movie. Reportedly, she will be reprising the original role portrayed by Anna Ben Nayarambalam.
However, an official confirmation regarding the news is awaited.
