The film “Mangalavaram” garnered attention with its intriguing trailer, presenting itself as a dark thriller with impressive technical qualities. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the movie recently received an A certificate from the censor board without any cuts. However, the officials raised objections to the lyrics in the satirical song “Appadappada Tandra,” featuring Tharun Bhascker and others.
In response to the censor board’s concerns, the director decided to remove the song from the film before its release. The full song will be officially released tomorrow, separate from the movie, as it will not be part of the final cut.
“Mangalavaram” boasts a cast including Payal Rajput, Azmal, Ajay Ghosh, Nanditha Swetha, Giridhar, and others in pivotal roles. The music and background score by Ajneesh, known for his work in “Kantara,” are anticipated to be highlights of the film. With positive buzz surrounding it, “Mangalavaram” is set to hit the screens this Friday, produced by Mudra Media Works and A Creative Works.
