Lady Superstar Nayanthara’s new film, Mookuthi Amman is scheduled for a direct OTT to release on Disney Plus Hotstar on November 14, 2020, as Diwali festival special. Being directed by RJ Balaji, the film has been carrying good expectations among the audience and industry circles.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Nayanthara got a flat pay cheque of ₹4 crores for the film. As per the sources, previously Nayan used to take ₹3 crores for regular commercial films but as Mookuthi Amman is a female-centric film, the star heroine has charged the whopping amount.
Co-starring RJ Balaji, Mookuthi Amman is said to be a devotional satirical film. Ishari K Ganesh is the producer and Girish G is the music composer for Mookuthi Amman.
