The makers of Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa tried their best to bring her for the promotions, but, Nayanatara didn’t oblige. She recently opened up about the same and said that she stopped attending the movie promotional events as heroines weren’t given any importance in these events and made them stand in some corner.
However, the actress is seen promoting her recent horror thriller Connect movie. A section of the media isn’t happy with her being partial to some movies. This movie is produced by her husband Vignesh Sivan and this is the reason for her attending so many promotional events and interviews. Several people in the industry are saying that Nayanatara only promotes films that she or her partner produces. For other films, she doesn’t even care to give one interview.
