Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently engaged in making remakes of second innings. Despite the efforts he is putting in to entertain the fans, the results are not up to the mark as expected. While his recent movie “Bhola Shankar” failed to create an impact, Chiranjeevi seems to be reconsidering his choices based on the recent trends in the industry.
There is a lot of discussion regarding the remake projects. It’s been noted that even good content films don’t always perform well across all languages. This has led to differing opinions among actors. True, the content’s reception varies even with subtitles, as the OTT trend is growing, sometimes without language barriers.
In such times, are remakes still relevant? Well, for Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan took the initiative by acquiring the remake rights of the Malayalam movie “Bro Daddy” and is already involved in the pre-production through his production banner, Konidela Productions. Ram Charan has been actively preparing for this project, collaborating with Mythri Movie Makers. The project has now moved into the dialogue and screenplay stages, reflecting the recent developments. We need to wait and see what unfolds and what’s in store for the future.
