BJP MP Bandi Sanjay paid a visit to the residence of Vijayendra Prasad, a renowned film writer and Member of Parliament, who is widely known as the father of SS Rajamouli. The purpose and details of their meeting remain undisclosed, leaving room for speculation regarding their discussion.
It is noteworthy to mention that in the past, Bandi Sanjay had made threats to burn theaters screening Rajamouli’s film RRR due to his perception that the portrayal of the character Komaram Bheem as a Muslim was objectionable. However, his stance changed when the film achieved great success by winning an Oscar this year, prompting him to extend his congratulations to the entire team.
The BJP has previously played a significant role in the nomination of Vijayendra Prasad to the Rajya Sabha, where he was categorized as an eminent person nominated by the President of India. Following Bandi Sanjay’s removal as Telangana BJP president, he currently holds one of the ten nominated positions in the party’s national executive.
