Nandamuri Balakrishna has acknowledged the success of the movie ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’. The movie was released along with Balakrishna’s ‘Veerasimha Reddy’, which was a serious film in contrast to the commercial success of ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’.
It is a known fact that ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ had objections against ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’. This led Balakrishna to seek a subject similar to ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’, and he approached director Anil Ravipudi with the idea. Recognizing his capability, Balakrishna encouraged Anil Ravipudi to make a mass masala commercial entertainer after completing the film with him.
