Chiranjeevi : Movie stars and sentiment go hand in hand most of the times. From relase date to titles, some stars have some superstitions or sentiments.
Senior actor Rajasekhar used to believe that movie title starting with ‘A’ brings him luck. Most of his movie Ahuthi, Ankusham, Allari Priyudu were blockbusters. Similarly director Trivikram Srinivas too follows the same sentiment. His movies Athadu, Atharintiki Daredi, A Aa, Aravinda Sametha, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo are massive hits.
Even Mahesh Babu also believes in 3 letter titles (in Telugu) for his movies. Athadu, Pokiri, Dookudu, Maharishi proved his belief.
However, for Chiranjeevi ‘A’ letter seems to be a hauntung bad sentiment. Some of his movie titles starting with letter ‘A’ have been duds. Arani Mantalu, Aadallu Meeku Joharlu, Aapadbandhavudu, Anji, and now the highly expected Acharya too turned out to be a colossal disaster.
