Bad News For Prabhas Fans

Disappointingly, the fans of Prabhas, who were anticipating a flurry of releases next year, are in for a letdown. No Prabhas film will be hitting the screens in 2024. Despite the near completion of Salaar, set for release on December 22nd, and the ongoing work on Kalki – 2898 AD, the latter film is facing delays primarily due to extensive CG work.

Originally scheduled for a Sankranthi 2024 release, Kalki’s launch has been pushed to the summer of 2024 due to the setbacks related to CG work. However, recent reports indicate that the film is unlikely to grace the screens in 2024. Director Nag Ashwin, known for his meticulous approach, along with the substantial amount of CG work involved, has resulted in the production taking more time than initially anticipated.

As a consequence, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to see the light of day in early 2025. Following Kalki’s release, Prabhas’s next film, directed by Maruthi, will hit the screens, aligning with Prabhas’s planned schedule. While Salaar will keep fans entertained at the end of this year, they will have to wait until 2025 for Prabhas’s next film. Hence, there will be no Prabhas film released in 2024, much to the disappointment of his eager fanbase.
