Adipurush starring Prabhas in the direction of Bollywood director Om Raut is one of the most anticipated movies mot just in South India but also in Bollywood. Om Raut directed Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior this year which is the highest-grossing film of 2020. Now all eyes are on Adipurush.
If reports are to be believed then Bollywood sensation Ananya Pandey is in talks for the female lead role in Adipurush. But it is not clear if it is for the role of Sita or not. If it is for the role of Sita then Ananya is just not suitable. She doesn’t carry that aura of a divine role like Sita. And even if it is for some other role, she is not cut out for Mythological films. On top of it, these days there is a lot of negativity around her due to the nepotism issue. Ananya Pandey is already doing Vijay Deverakonda’s film with Puri Jagannadh.
It would be better for the makers to consider some other actress who can justify a role in a film like Adipurush. This film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series fame and will be made at a whopping budget of 500 crores.
