Ashwin Babu’s upcoming film, Hidimbha, has successfully cleared the censor board’s scrutiny and is scheduled for release on the 20th of this month.
Initially, the movie faced objections from the censor officials due to certain objectionable scenes and excessive violence. However, the filmmakers found relief after the matter was reviewed by the censor review committee.
The theatrical trailer itself hinted at a high-action film, while also suggesting a unique storyline.
Directed by Aneel Kanneganti, the narrative of Hidimbha unfolds in two distinct timelines: one during the pre-Independence era and the other set in the present day.
Nandita Swetha plays the female lead opposite Ashwin Babu in this film, which is produced by Gangapatnam Sridhar. Anil Sunkara presents the movie, with music composed by Vikas Badisa.
