Ram Charan who became a Pan India star after the success of RRR is busy with Shankar’s magnum opus. The movie’s shooting is going at a brisk pace and the team is fully confident about the movie’s success though Shankar hasn’t delivered a hit for over a decade.
Ram Charan is heard to be playing dual roles of a villager in the flashback and a government official. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will be seen as a villain in this big-budget entertainer.
As per the sources, Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal will be seen in an important role as the chief minister in the movie and his role will be very crucial in this movie. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie is expected to have a theatrical release in the second half of next year.
Director Shankar who was busy with this movie had to juggle between this movie and Indian 2 which was halted due to financial issues with him and the producers. After Robo in 2010, Shankar couldn’t deliver a hit. All his movies Nanban, I, Robo 2. O have been big duds. However, the director is confident in making a strong comeback with these two movies.
