The makers of Prabhas21 had recently announced that Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in to play a key role in the film. Needless to say, the star-studded cast of the as-yet-untitled project just got bigger with Amitabh’s addition.
Going by the latest buzz, Amitabh Bachchan is pocketing big bucks for starring in Prabhas21. Reportedly, Vyjayanthi Movies agreed to pay a whopping amount of Rs 25 crores as remuneration for Amitabh Bachchan. He is playing an extended cameo in the film as he will be seen for roughly 30 minutes. Amitabh’s role is said to be one of the driving forces of the film and Nag Ashwin insisted on roping in the versatile actor for the author-backed role.
Prabhas21 will hit the floors from early 2021 and it will be up for release in 2022. The sci-fi thriller will be mounted on a budget of over Rs 300 crores.
This film will have Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. More details about the project will be out soon
