Ambati Rambabu’s Electoral Shift, A Political Twist?

Chandrababu Naidu, made a visit to inspect water projects in the state and took the opportunity to address a public gathering during his trip. One of the key points of his speech was a scathing criticism of the incumbent Jagan government’s alleged negligence in handling the Gundlakamma project in the Prakasam district.

During his address, Naidu also targeted the AP Irrigation Minister, Ambati Rambabu, accusing him of disregarding crucial irrigation projects while focusing on trivial matters like a movie titled ‘BRO.’ The former Chief Minister even went on to assert that Rambabu is expected to lose in his current constituency, Sattenapally, and may choose to contest from Giddalur in Prakasam district instead.

This revelation came as a surprise, as it was not widely known until Naidu disclosed it in his speech. The news of Ambati Rambabu’s potential change of constituency had already been circulating, with reports of dissent within the party in Sattenapally, as some leaders openly opposed his candidacy for the upcoming elections.

Speculations were rife that he might consider shifting to Avanigadda. However, Naidu’s confirmation during his public speech has now put an end to the rumours, clarifying that Rambabu will indeed be contesting from Giddalur in the forthcoming elections.
