Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is gearing up for the eighth season of his celebrated celebrity talk show, Koffee with Karan, which is expected to air in August or September. Known for featuring A-list Bollywood stars, the show has garnered a massive fan following over the years.
However, this season, rumors are rife that three South Indian actors, namely Allu Arjun, Yash, and Rishab Shetty, who have recently achieved Pan-Indian stardom with their blockbuster hits Pushpa The Rise, KGF, and Kanthara, respectively, might grace the show.
Such a move could prove to be beneficial for both the actors and the show’s viewership in the South. Notably, with the recent success of South Indian cinema, Bollywood seems to be acknowledging and welcoming its rising stars. Adding to the excitement, Karan’s close friend and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is expected to be the first celebrity guest on the season premiere.
