Allu Arjun Considers Himself And Devi Sri Prasad Useless

‘Pushpa: The Rise’ achieved remarkable success at the box office and earned National Film Awards for its lead actor, Allu Arjun, and composer, Devi Sri Prasad. On the evening of October 21, Mythri Movie Makers hosted a celebration in honor of these National Award winners.

During the event, Allu Arjun shared a heartwarming anecdote about his early days, recalling how he and Devi were once considered underachievers by his father, Allu Aravind.

Reflecting on his conversation with his father after receiving the award, Bunny humorously recounted, “Daddy, did you ever imagine that two seemingly average individuals like me and Devi, who couldn’t even secure a basic certificate from their school principal in Chennai, would one day receive a medal from the President of our country?”

Allu Arjun also spoke with great admiration for director Sukumar. He emphasized that Sukumar is the true achiever, while he, Allu Arjun, is simply a result of Sukumar’s incredible work.

Directed by Sukumar, the eagerly awaited ‘Pushpa 2’ will feature Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 15, 2024.
