Till a decade ago, Allari Naresh was the most bankable hero in Telugu film industry. He is to have at least four to five releases a year with decent success. However, with the rise of comedy shows like Jabardasth on Television, Naresh’s movies couldn’t leave any impact and he has to face a streak of flops.
With back-to-back duds, Allari Naresh shed his comedy image and has been concentrating more on serious roles. He turned a second fiddle to Mahesh Babu in Maharshi movie and his role got a wider appreciation. His next movie Naandi as a solo hero was received well at the box office and he was praised for the acting.
Naresh’s latest release Itlu Maredumalli Niyojakavargam failed to connect with the audience and ended as a disaster. Now, Allari Naresh is all set to play the second lead in Nagarjuna’s 100th movie to be directed by Bezawada Prasanna Kumar who will turn director with this movie.
Allari Naresh on several occasions said that he’s been a huge fan of Nagarjuna since childhood. Finally, Naresh’s dream to share the screen space with his favorite hero is happening. An official announcement about this impending project is yet to be made by Nagarjuna.
