If there is one actor in Bollywood, who is as committed as Amitabh Bachchan, then it surely is Akshay Kumar. The Khiladi Kumar had shot for his 1980s based spy film Bell Bottom at various locations, mostly in England. And this, he did during the lockdown. This talks about his professionalism and commitment to projects and his producers.
As per news on the net, Akshay Kumar has started shooting for his historical titled Prithvi Raj. The film is based, as the title suggests, on the life and time of Prithvi Raj Chauhan. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar will be playing the part of Sanjukta opposite him. Of course, a good chunk of the film will also focus on the dramatic love story between the lead characters.
The film’s shooting is said to have resumed on October 10 and Akshay shoot for a 15-day schedule with actor Sonu Sood, who was all over the news during the Corona pandemic. Manushi too will join the shoot in between, while Sanjay Dutt who is playing another key role in the film will join the shoot post-Diwali.
The historical also has Manav Vij and Ashutosh Rana in the cast. The film is being directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi and important schedules are being shot at YRF studio in Mumbai. A huge set has been erected for the film at the studios.
It has been good news for Akshay fans as the film has resumed shooting after a gap of six months. It was supposed to be a Diwali 2020 gift for his fans, but Corona changed all that.
