The shooting of Ajay Devgn’s MayDay has begun today. The project will be directed and produced by Ajay Devgn and the shooting will happen in Hyderabad, according to Bollywood insiders.
The Tanhaji star has taken to social media and posted, “Happy to officially begin MayDay in a start-to-finish shooting schedule. Seek blessings from the Almighty and my parents. Nothing is complete without the support of all my fans, family and well-wishers. Releases on 29th April, 2022.” He also attached a picture of clapboard along with his post.
While it is known that Rakul Preet Singh will be playing a pilot in the film, the details of the characters of Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan haven’t been released as yet.
The film marks Rakul Preet’s first movie with Sr Bachchan, while it is her second film with Ajay Devgn. Both of them appeared as romantic leads in De De Pyar De.
As for veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn, the film will be their seventh film together. They had acted in Major Saab, Hindustan Ki Kasam, Khakhee, Aag, Teen Patti and Satyagraha.
MayDay is being produced by Ajay Devgn under Ajay Devgn FFilms.
