Karthika’s career took off with the Tamil film “Ko” (also known as “Rangam”), directed by KV Anand and starring Jiiva. The movie became a blockbuster hit in both Tamil and Telugu, significantly boosting her popularity. She also made her Malayalam debut in the same year with “Makaramanju,” where she portrayed a dual role, earning accolades for her performance.
Later, Karthika had the opportunity to work in Junior NTR’s “Dhammu,” where she shared the screen with Trisha. Unfortunately, this film did not propel her to stardom in the Telugu film industry.
