Actress Gayatri Joshi, renowned for her role in the Bollywood movie ‘Swades,’ and her husband, businessman Vikas Oberoi, were recently involved in a car accident while on vacation in Italy. Tragically, this incident resulted in the loss of two lives.
During their participation in the Sardinia Supercar Tour, an event featuring a luxury car parade, their Lamborghini collided with a Ferrari and a camper van. Unfortunately, the occupants of the Ferrari lost their lives in the accident.
The collision occurred as both high-end cars attempted to overtake a campervan on the road, leading to a severe accident. The camper van overturned, and the Ferrari caught fire in the aftermath.
Gayatri Joshi confirmed the accident, expressing relief that she and Vikas Oberoi are safe and in the process of recovery. The couple expressed their gratitude for escaping unharmed from this terrifying incident.
The victims of the accident were identified as Markus Krautli (67) and his wife Melissa Krautli (63), both hailing from Zurich, Switzerland.
Gayatri Joshi, a former Indian actress, video jockey, and model, achieved recognition for her role in ‘Swades.’ She has been married to businessman Vikas Oberoi since 2005. Joshi began her career as a video jockey on Channel V India and later ventured into modeling. She has also made appearances in notable music videos.
