After not so impressive outings with “Saaho” and “Radhe Shyam”, Indian superstar Prabhas was last seen in “Adipurush”. Based on the Indian mythological epic Ramayana, the movie is directed by Om Raut, celebrated for his work on the film “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior”. Also featuring Kriti Sanon, as the Goddess Sita, the movie had a decent theatrical run. The film’s reception, however, proved to be a blend of opinions, with critics and audiences expressing a mix of reactions.
Surprisingly, the film has now made its unannounced debut on Amazon Prime Video, reaching a vast audience. Adipurush is currently available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, accompanied by English subtitles. Curiously, updates regarding the Hindi version of the movie are conspicuously absent.
This grand-scale production was a collaborative effort, brought to life by a team of accomplished individuals including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair, Vamsi, and Pramod. Their partnership yielded a high-budget cinematic marvel under the banners of T-Series and Retrophiles. Noteworthy performances were also delivered by Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan, and Trupti Toradmal, who played significant roles in the film.
