Inspired by the heroic sacrifice of Murali Nayak, who valiantly laid down his life for the country in “Operation Sindhoor”, the film “Desam Kosam Manalo Okkadu” was brought to life by young and dynamic director Gopi Varma. This independent film was produced by Prasad (Babi), featuring performances by Koteshwara Rao, Rajasekhar, Krishnaveni, Nagaraju, Swetha, Sindhu, Nagababu, Jyothi, Raju, and others. The film was ceremoniously released on July 19 at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad.

The release event was graced by prominent film producers Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, D.S. Rao, Mrs. Gidugu Kanthi Krishna, political leader Gattu Ramachandra Rao, senior journalists Akkineni Sridhar, Dheeraj Appaji, and Junior Rajasekhar, who all extended their congratulations to Gopi Varma. They expressed confidence in his bright future as a director.

Despite knowing there was no chance of recovering even a rupee of his investment, producer Prasad (Babi) stepped forward to make this film, purely out of deep respect and admiration for Murali Nayak’s selfless sacrifice for the nation. Director Gopi Varma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to him.

Gopi also revealed that a sequel to “Desam Kosam Manalo Okkadu” is already being planned. Meanwhile, another of his projects, “Rayalaseema Prema Katha”, has completed two schedules of shooting. Producer Prasad expressed pride in being part of such a meaningful film, and the cast and crew shared their happiness in working on this inspiring project.
