Talented filmmaker-turned-actor Tharun Bhascker is all set to enthrall in a distinct role in the upcoming quirky rural entertainer Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, with Eesha Rebba pairing opposite him. Directed by debutant A R Sajeev, the film has already caught attention with its rustic setting and refreshing premise, unveiled through its teaser. The film is being jointly backed by S Originals and Movie Verse Studios, with Srujan Yarabolu, Aditya Pittie, Vivek Krishnani, Anup Chandrasekaran, Sadhik Shaik, and Naveen Sanivarapu producing the venture, while Kishore Jaladi and Bala Sowmitri serve as co-producers.
Taking promotions forward, the makers have now released the film’s first single, Sinnari Kona, a soul-stirring melody that explores the emotional transition of a bride stepping out of her parental home and into a new phase of life. The song beautifully captures the mix of anxiety, fear, and quiet hope that accompanies this deeply personal journey.
Composed by Jay Krishna, Sinnari Kona stands out for its soothing tune and tender rhythm that instantly connects. Bharadwaj Gali’s evocative lyrics add emotional depth, delicately portraying the bride’s inner thoughts and unspoken feelings. The vocals by Jay Krishna, Ananya Bhatt, and MG Narasimha bring warmth and sincerity.
Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba appear in contrasting roles, effortlessly conveying the subtle emotions of a newlywed couple. Eesha Rebba, in particular, shines in portraying the vulnerability and grace of a young bride adjusting to her new surroundings, while Tharun Bhascker’s character hints at unique characterization.
The film has cinematography handled by Deepak Yeragara, while Nanda Kishore Emani penned dialogues.
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is scheduled for a Republic Day weekend release on January 23rd.
