Rishab Shetty’s Kantara movie which was released with no hype has created a sensation and collected over 400 crores in its full run. After the massive success of the movie, the team is planning for the second part and it will be a prequel to Kantara.
The movie’s producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films has confirmed the same and added that the prequel will not progress the plot. Instead, it will explore the origins of mythology. The actor-cum-writer Rishab Shetty and his team are scouting the locations in the forests of coastal Karnataka.
The shooting is expected to begin in this June and the movie will have a Pan India release in April or May next year.
