Two days ago A 9-year-old boy was kidnapped while playing near his house, this atrocity happened in Mahabubabad district on Sunday evening. On Sunday night, the kidnapper made VOIP calls to the boy’s mother and demanded 45lakh for the release of her son.
As per the demand of the kidnapper the boy’s father carried a bag containing 45 lakh cash to be handed over to the kidnaper at the designated place in Mahabubabad, where he waited for the kidnappers till the night. He then returned home later when the kidnappers did not show up.
Later the kidnap episode of the 9-year-old boy ended on a tragic note when the assailants killed the boy by setting him on fire at Annaram Danamaiah hill.
Mahabubabad Superintendent of Police, N Koti Reddy, told reporters that Mandha Sagar, who was known to the family, had kidnapped Deekshith on Sunday evening to earn easy and quick money. He added that the boy was killed by strangulation even before the accused made his first ransom call demanding Rs 45 lakh.
