A bounty has been declared concerning the renowned actor Akshay Kumar. The recently released “OMG2,” starring Akshay Kumar, has been captivating audiences since its release yesterday. Serving as a sequel to the successful film “OMG,” this movie’s content has raised eyebrows due to its candid approach to sexual education. Adding to the surprise, the film has received an “A” certification from the censor board.
The storyline, which includes Akshay Kumar portraying the character of Lord Shiva, has drawn the ire of certain Hindu organizations. Their discontent has sparked protests against the film’s screening, accompanied by a rather shocking announcement. These groups have offered a reward to anyone who slaps Akshay Kumar, with the pledge of Rs 10 lakh as a prize for this act.
Sadhvi Ritambhara, a prominent figure linked to various Hindu organizations, conveyed that films like “OMG 2” were a direct result of the perceived lack of respect towards Hinduism in the film industry. She emphatically stated, “Instances of Hindu deities being disrespected on the silver screen have occurred previously as well. We will not stand for any form of tampering with the principles of Hinduism. Should Bollywood persist in this manner, the Hindu community will make its dissent evident on the streets. Our reverence for Lord Shiva is not to be taken lightly.”
In demonstration of their discontent, they symbolically burnt an effigy of Akshay Kumar, using this act as a form of protest against the film’s content and its perceived offense to Hindu sentiments.
