Pawan Kalyan is one of the biggest superstars of Telugu cinema. By the time he entered the industry, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Balakrishna were ruling the Tollywood. Despite stiff competition, he made his mark and became much bigger star than them. His stardom remained intact despite the influx young heroes and a decade long flops.
If closely observed about Pawan Kalyan’s career, he worked with lesser known directors for the most of his movies and delivered hits. However, some of those directors who gave some sensational hits to Pawan Kalyan have faded out.
Karunakaran who gave Pawan Kalyan, the biggest commercial break in the form of Tholiprema had however, didn’t hit the top league though he is occasionally making movies. Director PA Arun Prasad who directed Thammudu movie too faded soon.
Directors like Veera Shankar, Bheemineni Srinvasa Rao and most recently Venu Sri Ram of Vakeel Saab and Sagar K Chandra of Bheemla Nayak too had no offers despite delivering hits.
