Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is one of the most prestigious projects that will be releasing next year. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie while Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy produce the film. After wrapping up almost 50% percent, the shooting of Acharya got stalled due to the corona’s lockdown. The makers were expected to resume shooting from November and release it on April 9th, 2020.
However, according to the latest reports, Chiranjeevi would not be joining the sets of Acharya until after Sankranthi. This is because the intensity of the spreading of Coronavirus has not reduced any bit. This is why Chiranjeevi does not want to take a risk and wants to put the shooting on hold.
As a result, Acharya is now out of the Summer 2021 race and may release for Dussehra, if everything goes well. Koratala Siva was reportedly very much looking forward to resuming shooting for the film, but his plans have now been watered down once again.
