Nine more days to go for the 14th World Cup Field Hockey tournament. It is being held at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Sixteen teams are competing for the World Cup 2018. The matches are held from November-28 to December-16 2018, at Kalinga Stadium.
Fieldwork is going on for the Big Day. The kind of promotion Robot 2.0, Taxiwala and other movies have been receiving, there isn’t much noise about the Hockey Cup when India is the host this time. Hopefully, the anthem released today garners enough media attention.
A R Rahman released the promo of the theme song that he has composed for the Hockey World Cup 2018. Within minutes, #OdishaWorldCupAnthem starting trending on Twitter. The lyrics are penned by Gulzar and famous Indian personalities like Shahrukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sivamani, Neeti Mohan, Shweta Mohan, Sasha Tirupathi, Shweta Pandit, Harshdeep are seen in the video.
