Before Alia Bhatt gets to RRR, she needs to wrap up her latest Hindi film, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The filming is on as now and the latest on the film is that after Jim Sarbh, Huma Qureshi has joined the cast.
Huma would be seen in a Qawwali dance number. The actress has been prepping for the scenes which would be shot for around 4 to 5 days and are expected to shoot from today.
There was also a talk that Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgn were approached to play the role of Haji Mastan in the film which is a significant role but both of them rejected the role feeling that it did not have much weight. Gangubai Kathiawadi is about a brothel in Mumbai who became world-famous. Alia would be seen from a 17-year-old to a 70-year-old in the film.
