Yesterday, as Dusshera festival special, noted filmmaker Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments banner has unveiled that their new project will be with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. The film is said to be a remake of the acclaimed Malayalam hit, Ayyappanum Koshiyum and also has Rana Daggubati in another lead role.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that the makers are considering Billa Ranga as the film’s title in Telugu. It is well-known that Billa Ranga is Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu’s 1982 hit film. News is also that Pawan will be seen in stylish cop role as Billa and Rana will be essaying Ranga role.
An official confirmation regarding the above news is awaited. Appatlo Okadundevadu and Aiyyare fame Saagar Chandra will be helming the project. Thaman is the music composer for this adopted version of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
