Speculation is increasing about AP CM Jagan reshuffling his cabinet. Ever since two of the AP cabinet ministers got elected for Rajyasabha and since both of them happen to be BC community and staunch loyalists of Jagan, demands are increasing that those who will be inducted in their place should also from the same community.
Another demand is since two BCs already got Rajyasabha posts,other communties should also get a chance. Those leaders who couldn’t get a chance in the first instance are now sending feelers to Jagan. Cabinet expansion involves lot of sensitive issues and Jagan should get his calculations right.
With ministers Pilli subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkataramana elected to Rajyasabha, all eyes are on who will join in their place. Subhash Chandra Bose is Setti Balija and Mopidevi is from the fisherman community. So some say Krishna Disctrict Pedana MLA Jogi Ramesh and East Godavari district Mummidivaram MLA Satish Kumar may get cabinet berts. Apart from it, the name of Krishna district, Penamaluru MLA,former Minister Parthasarathi’s name is also doing rounds.
Inside talk is Jagan is planning to have Bcs once again in his cabinet. If that is so then MLAs Jogi Ramesh, Ponnada Satish, Parthasarathi will be in the race. Jagan may prefer Jogi Ramesh, Ponnada more than Parthasarathi. This because Parathasarathy is from the same Yadav community just like minister Anil Kumar Yadav. Since BCs who have been voting for TDP, voted in large numbers to Jagan’s YSRCP, he is rewarding them with numerous posts. However other communities are getting hurt with Bcs getting more preference than them.
